I’m so happy you found your way here. Being a blogger has been on my to-do list for far too long, so I’m diving in!

Literally Laurie will be a labor of love pulling together a patchwork of my thoughts and ideas, including my prose on life and musings. And mix in with that everything I love and love to do at home and beyond.

I’ll welcome you into my home to join me with projects, decorating and especially in my kitchen. I started cooking at 8 and haven’t stopped. When younger, I considered myself a darn good baker but as I’ve gotten older, I’m focused more on the savory side of cooking.

A writer at heart, I started my career as a local newspaper editor and today work in marketing and communications for health care. I live in Massachusetts.

I’m blessed being a grandmother of three darling grandkids (they call me Mémé), stepmom of two strong, beautiful women and wife of my supportive husband and soulmate for 28 years.
